Beer & Yoga - Saturday, July 14 at 9 AM - 10 AM CDT

Back by popular demand...Beer Yoga! $6 gets you you’re choice of Deep Ellum Brewing Company beer and 1 hour of yoga courtesy of The Yoga Stand! Registration is at 8:30am and class starts at 9am. Then stick around and shop the Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market. We will have live music by Drew Cypert from 10:30am-1pm.

1 Year Anniversary Party! - Sunday, July 15 at 2 PM - 10 PM CDT

We are turning 1! Come help us celebrate one year of serving our Lubbock community. We will have free hot dogs and cheese burgers while they last starting around 4pm! Music by The Local Nobodys from 4pm-7pm. Kid and dog friendly as always. Sunday Funday at The Garden!

Bidi Bidi Banda-Selena Tribute Band Live - Friday, July 20 at 7 PM - 1 AM CDT

"Bidi Bidi Banda is Austin's first all-star Selena Tribute. Comprised of members of some of Austin's premier Latin bands, Bidi Bidi Banda is the refried dream of Stephanie Bergara, a native Austinite who grew up listening to Tejano radio and singing in to a hair brush while wearing her mother's red lipstick. The band's interpretation of Selena's greatest hits will leave you belting lyrics, doing the washing machine and reliving greatness of the Queen of Tejano Music."

Lubbock's own Ahorake will open up the show from 7-9:30 and Bidi Bidi Banda takes the stage at 10pm!

Great Shapes with Lubbock's own Indica Children - Saturday, August 25 at 8 PM CDT

Great Shapes is an indie pop rock quartet based in El Paso, Texas. All bringing different influences to the table, the band ultimately came together with one goal: to make people move.
Murmuration (May 2015) was recorded in El Paso by Justin Leeah (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, At The Drive In, Conor Oberst) and mastered by Grammy winner Joe LaPorta (Twin Shadow, The Killers, Neon Indian, Foo Fighters) in New York City. The EP tackles themes of love, love lost, change, and time. Pulling inspiration from post punk and indie pop genres, Great Shapes mix their melodic guitar soundscapes with groovy bass lines and uptempo drums that are sure to keep you dancing.

Indica Children is a band from Lubbock, TX. They are West Texas Psychedelia style indie band.

Buddy Holly Birthday Bash - Friday, September 7 at 8 PM - 11 PM CDT

Buddy Holly was born on September 7th, 1936. Lets celebrate and honor one of the greats. We will have Peggy Sue's Dancy Party band playing all your favorite hits from the 50's and 60's. They have a very special guitar player Eddie Weir...he is the nephew of Buddy Holly! That's right, Buddy's sister's son is playing guitar for PSDP! The REAL Peggy Sue is in the band telling her stories AND Eddie adding his great stories about his uncle Buddy! This is an event you do not want to miss. This falls on the LHUCA First Friday Art Trail.
